Content Update Automation​
Content Update Automation is a system that features a Unity in-editor interface for content management. It watches for any changes in the specified folder. The MD5 for each file is calculated and compared to the previous version. The master file stores the metadata for each tracked file. If a change is detected, the state and color for that file changes to 'Modified', if it is a new file, the state changes to 'New'. The 'Upload Watched Files' function pushes the modified files and the master file to a storage service. The pushed content is considered live and once detected by the client, the new version will get downloaded.
